Nearby is no one, while I descend, into the blue void below me. The mossy mooring, my only visual reference into the darkening, silty depth. I coast deeper into the shifting play of light, thoughts fade away and fears are left behind. In this space where sound collapses, I hear nothing, except a heartbeat, my own. Graciousness, peacefulness, so happy to be alone, feeling the freedom I carry deep inside. It is only now when I realize the extent of my will, to explore the mysterious, watery depths of the earth.
