I arrive at the emerald warrior of the sea, launched from its fortress of sand and stone with threatening fists of lightning, hovering humbly in readiness for a punch. Decorated with segmented, roving eyes, the vision they behold still unknown. I wonder what he sees as he stares back at me, his life full of sights beyond our spectrum. Light and colors none of us can even hope to imagine, he could be seeing anything…and that’s the beauty of it all. What does he see that we are missing? I wonder if we’ll ever know…
